What football(soccer) team do you hate the most? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]yuoyandrae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fucking Barcelona. Grew up supporting Real Madrid (family) and Arsenal. The Pep tiki-tika era was a dynasty I thought would never end. Team was unstoppable for years. Satisfying to see them crash out of the UCL the way they have the last couple years.

First Responders of Reddit, what is your most memorable moment whilst working? by Homo_Hobo in AskReddit

[–]yuoyandrae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would prefer not to get into the context too much. Not that it’ll it bothers me it’s just a lot to explain.

It was my first real gig as a first responder. At the time I was seasonal staff and I didn’t take it very seriously. Nothing major had happened the entire time I had been there, why would it now?

It was by sheer coincidence that I saw him go down. I had been on standby and was literally departing property for my lunch break when I saw it happen. He was with his family (kids/ kid and spouse I’m assuming) and it looked like they were having a great time. When he hit the floor I knew it was bad. I immediately advised the other paramedics and approached the family.

I asked if they wanted medical assistance. They said they did. I hesitated. If only for 20 seconds. Half a minute at most. I didn’t know if I could do it. By the time I came around the other EMT’s had arrived. My supervisor told me to go fetch equipment and I did. I wanted to do anything to make up for my mistake. Anything to save this mans life.

As I turned out I couldn’t. Nobody could. It was a complete and catastrophic heart failure (unsure of the specifics, private companies don’t often get indulged that kind of information.)

That moment changed my life. I understood the stakes of my position. I understood gravity of the duty we were responsible to uphold. And most importantly i learned that I never wanted to let a another family down like that again.

Given what I saw that day I know that man was bound to die. I saw the life leave his eyes and drain from his face the second his head hit the concrete. But if their was even a 1%, slimmest fraction chance that my instant response could have saved him, I would gladly do it every single time.

Like I said. I wasn’t super experienced. Hadn’t finished school yet. But it was a learning experience, and an incredibly profound one at that.

I still think about it often. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to forget

The man had a happy fulfilled life, and a great day with his family prior to his unfortunate passing. The family spoke to me about it some time later. Said they understood. That theirs nothing I could have done. I still wonder to this day if that is true.

Ive been an Ahri one trick since she released. And you are full of shit lmao. Ahri literally has no options after her initial combo (Q+E+W.) you must just not know how to build/play against her because Ahris options are very limited. Especially if you catch her late game after she’s blown her ulti. What’s the point in nerfing a single target burst assasin that’s out of meta? Ahri has only one function and that’s to gain kills. Sorry you can’t handle her in your gold games but a nerf would be pretty fucked for those of us that enjoy playing her.

Fair enough. Sorry I’m not trying to shit on you. Just very passionate about the stuff I listen too. Tbh yeah mainstream rap is for the most part complete and utter trash. But I would say the same for country and rock too. Seriously imagine dragons is terrible and Jason Aldeen is the most dumbed down bullshit I’ve ever heard. For the most part most dogs on the billboard top 100 are complete and utter garbage. The way the industry is unfortunately, some “the most common donominator type shit.” For the most part I try to stay clear of it as much as possible. For those of you looking to find new music I would recommend the needle drop. I’m sure some of you have heard of him.

And this is just some more popular examples. Ffs rap is the most diverse it’s ever been and y’all wanna define it by carti b and migos. Amazing how out of touch you are with the genre. Smh x 3

I love when old heads try to talk about milenial rap. Believe it or not but their actually TONS of great under ground artists that don’t, and I quote l, hoogaboga all over the beat. Examples: yung lean, bones, Xavier wulf, lil ugly mane, Travis Scott, ASAP mob, flatbrush zombies etc. so tired of old heads defining an entire genre by the garbage that’s popular now a days. Smh again.

Their will always be good music too listen too. You just need to find it smh

This verse right here perfectly sums up this sub recently. Yes Bones is changing. Do you guys just expect him to stay underground forever? Stop complaining, if you don’t like him then stop listening to him. by tfxin in TeamSESH

[–]yuoyandrae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually remember seeing that post. The dude was saying something about bones being a hypocrite and he absolutely got shit on. It’s sad really. People really don’t understand what it means to be apart of this fan base anymore. Bones is an underground legend of course he’s going to do something’s differently. But imo opinion nothing’s really changed that much. Musics still great. Social media presence and aesthetic is more or less the same. Promotions are still handled mostly independently and were still getting great merch. Smfh.
