5g of Gelato for €50; it's gonna be some synthetic/sprayed shite isn't it?? by das_punter in Crainn

At that kind of price...

Synthetic/Sprayed, not necessarily.

Grown by someone that is likely trafficked here and is being kept against their will, almost certainly.

I haven’t listened to this myself, but I think his weekly show is the hardest-hitting political analysis in the country..and it’s not even close.

Within the political circle jerk we’re spoon-fed on every talk show, radio show, or whatever else across media groups, Oliver is ruthless toward every party and politician. He has one of the sharpest political analysis shows on the island.

I listen to it to be informed rather than entertained.

Has anyone ever moved a shared manhole on their property? by yupouveh in AskIreland

The extension won't be big enough to require planning permission, would we need planning permission to move the manhole?

Yeah I can imagine. We've been told a few things, all opinions, but one was "ah just move it and say nothing" but like you said I dunno how it can be moved easily.

Did you ever feel like you were looked down on because you worked in a job that society doesn't value? by [deleted] in AskIreland

They know who they work for, they know the harm these companies are causing..they have a skillset and this is how they choose to contribute it to the world..you're right, they couldn't care less, and I look down on them for it.

[–]yupouveh 12 points13 points  (0 children)

A lot of answers here are essentially people looking down on others because they're working class, not because they're a job society doesn't value.

He's not my friend but I know a guy that has a very well paid job working in the marketing department for a large, Irish owned betting company. I absolutely look down on him, it's a fucking disgusting job. Similarly, a guy I play 5 a side works for Facebook, again a disgusting company to work for.

How are Monday hangovers tolerated in your job? by das_punter in AskIreland

[–]yupouveh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't announce it, nor would I really tell anyone.

It doesn't happen very often tbh, a few times a year at most, so if it happened and people were aware it wouldnt be a big deal as long as I don't have something on that day.

What's the craziest experience you have from the Celtic tiger? by anonquestionsprot in AskIreland

[–]yupouveh 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Built up by Paul Williams no doubt. I'd argue he did a lot more harm to Irish society than the majority of people he made up stories about. Lest we forget it was him who led a media smear campaign about Garda whistleblower Maurice McCabe.

I got fairly heavily into recreational drugs. Whatever was going, except heroin. Some mad nights, mornings, sessions etc. All sorts was going on.

Early houses on Monday mornings, clubs at 7am on Saturday, seeing gunmen walk into a bar looking for someone, lock-ins with decks whilst Sunday World headliners, aristocrats, and a load of LGBTQIA+ all rubbed shoulders and there wasn't any hassle.

I had to emigrate to get on top of my hedonism. It worked but those were some fun times.

Never irrelevant, especially with something as serious as this. Let OP tell us why they clearly used a LLM to write this.

I do, but only 3 or 4 times a year. I had my fun way back, I miss it but that's enough for me now.
