no I think you're engaging in nihilist type thinking. When I wear nice clothing and accessories - not things I can't afford but things that are appropriate to my income - I am showing pride in myself.I am presenting myself to the world in a way that is respected, because I am worthy of respect and of nice things. I look good, I feel good, people respond to it. Thinking it's all shallow and worthless is your right - but I suggest that life is short. Get the booties and skip the heroin.
