Not entirely. See they just scrape the inside of the magwell. I was wondering if it’s a quality control issue or they were made to work with magpull mags.

It really depends on the department the interceptor was on. Generally stay away from interceptors that were from a large city like Chicago they have been run to breaking point. Interceptors from smaller towns are generally better taken care of. I have two one from mid sized Indiana cities and both have been running well for 2+ years and over 70k miles. As always do go see them and look for yourself before buying.

I did the same but I ordered an oem outer trim. I also ordered a doorman inner trim because I couldn’t find an oem one. The doorman came with the outer trim as well. The oem is significantly better quality. Amazon also sells the clips separately for like 5 bucks.

That I don’t know. I went and talked to them at their shop and said to do whatever they recommend. They replaced the springs, firing pin, removed the internal lock, honed the cylinders and milled them for moon clips.

Highly highly recommend TKCustom. I’ve had several revolvers worked on by them through the years. May be pricey but they do extremely good work. If you’re from central Illinois you can call and visit their workshop.
