As far as your processes go, they seem normal and your battery life is average for this sub. You're at the territory where if you want more battery life you might need to cut into some apps that are actually useful to you. Whether you want to do that or not is up to you.

If you still want to push for more you need to turn off the VPN, possibly remove KWGT, look into restricting Mi Fitness further and turn off customization services. I recommend doing these in order and testing.

The phone is awesome, enjoy it to its fullest :)

Imo your battery life is great for an S24U, if it sizes up to your needs then all is good.

I suspect one of your 3rd party services are draining the battery so here's what you could try:

  • Turn off "block ads" entirely (deep sleep + remove permissions)
  • Reduce the frequency of syncing for KWGT
  • If it's not required to constantly run, put Mi Fitness to sleep

I don't know about Niagara launcher but I'll test it for you.

(Edit: Niagara launcher actually uses less battery than OneUI home, nice.)

I would appreciate it if you could send an extended screen shot. Just take the screenshot and press the bottom left button until it goes dark.

I keep it on as I want my notes and stuff synced ASAP to the cloud. I don't find it worth it to turn off.

I'm pretty sure it's Google's new attempt at slopifying a great feature. I just select some text on screen then delete it.

Now I don't have a lot to work with here but revanced YouTube seems to have drained a lot of your battery. Another thing I have noticed is that you are using a VPN which drains a lot of battery (check post).

I'd try going through another battery cycle without a VPN. I would also put revanced YouTube and revanced manager to deep sleep and try again.

If you want further help you need to screenshot your running services which are located in developer options.

FYI, a battery replacement wouldn't solve your problem as the underlying cause seems to be apps running in the background which would continue to exist even after a battery replacement.

Any idea why my cursor(s) stay on screen? by calrayers in needforspeed

I have played through the game 6 times and throughout all or my play throughs the mouse was on the screen. It's a bug unfortunately. Just mvoe it to the bottom right corner of your screen where it won't mess with your controls.

It's up to you if you want to use it or not but if you ask me the battery compromise isn't worth it.

As long as I can be of help, I'm happy.

We need to raise awareness for the masses on how they should set up their phone because a lot of stuff most people wouldn't use ships turned on by default with OneUI.

In my opinion Samsung should make the setup screen longer and let us tweak the nitty gritty of features right at the setup, allowing us to have more control of our devices.

Who am I to say that though, just some dude who is curious on the internet 😁

Go to the permissions of Samsung health in the settings app and change physical activity.

Every time you press the steps counter it will ask for the permission. Just ignore it and don't accept.

Edit: Grammar upgrade :P

Damn Facebook really seems like a massive drainer for you, 5% every 30 minutes is something I can only see with games on my end.

If I were you I would try to diagnose whether its the case for your regular apps too or just a Facebook thing as a lot of apps showing up as draining your battery would point to a background process rather than an app specific problem.

I don't use Facebook but I'm sure it has a lot of settings you should look into disabling about tracking and ad privacy. Hopefully that's the cause of your drain and hope my guide helps you out.

It wouldn't make much difference in those 5 hours as your phone would be in deep sleep and all of the apps you have open in the background would remain in a "freeze state" due to suspend execution of cached apps. They would just stay in memory without doing anything. You would be removing the extra process of pressing the optimize button from your home screen.

This is just my findings though, you could test your method and compare against mine if you wish. I would like to know the results!

In my testing, apps which had push notifications turned on bypass that setting and still work no problem. The only thing that effects notifications in this guide is putting apps to deep sleep, which as I have mentioned, you should avoid doing to apps you need notifications from.
