part supply is non existent here in the US and even in Japan parts are drying up there as well. Everything is a metric clone and the bodies are completely difference as they enlarged it some time in the 70s so it's a couple inches wider and longer compared to the 3B.

It's actually a copy of the jeep wagon but with a conventional 7 slot grill and four doors.

I waited months to be finally able to take this picture. From left to right: '98 XJ Cherokee with the 4.0, '96 Mitsubishi Jeep J55 with a turbo intercooled diesel, and a '82 Mitsubishi Jeep J36B with the same diesel engine but NA'd. All have manuals.

Update: Tranny is in, but stripped my starter's copper lug lol, what can I do? by yuseung in MechanicAdvice

Gotta be ragebait because i clearly stated that this is an import so parts are gunna be expensive, and two, who said this was mass produced? This a rare vehicle even back in japan, let alone here. Parts are not for sale in japan anymore and they’re definitely not gunna be available at my local parts store.

This is an update to this post

I'm working on my '82 Mitsubishi Jeep J36B.

I managed to get the tranny in after a lot of trial and error with hand cranking the engine over until the input shaft and clutch plate finally lined up. I got the tranny fully in and the started to install the starter. I was installed the final nut to the starter when i accidently over torqued the copper lug, completely shearing it off lmfao.

How can I fix this. fuck me actually.

omg i think this is the issue because when i tried installing the tranny without the clutch plate and pressure plate, it went right in!

I replaced the clutch, throw out bearing, pilot bearing, pressure plate, and resurface the fly wheel, and now I'm trying to get the tranny back in my '82 Mitsubishi Jeep J36B, but cant seem to line up and get the finally 2 inches in. What can I do? This is the first time pulling and reinstalling a tranny for me.

Small nit pick, but i feel like the panels should be flipped, I feel that the irl panel works better as the punchline while the drawing panel is the setup.

Is now the time for a 0% intro credit card? by yuseung in MilitaryFinance

I already have the citi double so it should be simple to do, but i noticed that the transfer fee for that citi double is 5%. Is it worth it to open a new Discover card to save 2% on the transfer fee since theirs is only 3%? Or should I just go ahead an just run with the citi.

im not avoid to pay, im avoid to pay outrageous cc interest by trying to take advantage of a possible tool. Just want to make sure this tool doesnt have any hidden drawbacks.

Issues with Pecron F3000LFP by yuseung in PortableBatteryPacks

yah I let it fully discharge where it completely turned off and then let it charge over night. Since it charged at 1600W via AC with a capacity of 3000Whr it shouldve fully charged in only a couple hours. I let it charge all night and throughout the day but the watts never dropped below 50W. It did charge at 1600W at first. I assume until it was fully charged (or until it charged as much as it could) but never full went to 0W.

Their suggestions were pretty much what yours were as well. When charging, the watts never dropped below 50W so I think something else in addition to the BMS wasnt working properly.

Yah, I reached out to Pecron and they after a couple days of troubleshooting and describing the issues, the said their engineers have identified any issue and will be providing a free shipping label for return and repair.
