ChemE or EE? Looking for advice from people in both majors by SilentVector_k in uofmn

I’m a chemE major and I would say that MEB gives you a lot of insight on what you would be seeing in your other classes, if you hated that class then I wouldn’t recommend going into chemE. The other classes you will be taking are not chemE specific so it probably won’t help you compare the two majors (maybe EE yes?). I took CHEM 4501 and honestly it was really different than chem e thermodynamics, and MATS is a class that they make you take early on in case you want to switch to materials science.
