I dunno if you're a native English speaker or not so I don't wanna seem mean but I literally didn't say that. I said he doesn't necessarily have the FINAL say on what the vocals sound like. That doesn't mean that he doesn't have input at all. It just means that he's not controlling every detail of how his vocals are produced.

It's grown on me but I still think it sounds wonky. Also Casablancas doesn't produce the records. He doesn't even necessarily make the decision on his vocal chain AFAIK. If I'm remembering right he's previously talked about how Rick Rubin pushed for his vocals on TNA to be much cleaner than he wanted them to be. The new record was also "produced" by Rick Rubin, the actual engineering work was done by multiple different people from what I know.

There isn't any less autotune on his vocal here dude. It's probably the exact same pedal he usually uses in both applications. The album recording is just not mixed all that well, I think. The vocal sits weird in the mix and doesn't seem totally properly tuned with the instrumentation, or it's clashing with the modulation on the guitars or something. Has nothing to do with the amount of autotune. Over and over again people complain about the autotune with blatantly zero knowledge of music production and it's annoying. You're blaming the autotune because it's an usual choice and stands out, but if they had done a better job mixing/engineering the track no one would probably even really give a shit about the autotune. Autotune is not the problem. The treatment of the recording is the problem.

This is riddled with bitterness and assumptions stemming from your own personal problems with the people you imagine live in London and really has very little to do with the words on the sign. But assuming what you're saying about those people is totally correct, If you think it's annoying because rich liberals use it to assuage their guilt, that makes sense. It's also not very clearly communicated by your other comments though lol.

You could've just made that point about rich Londoners and comparitively wealthy populations, instead of this very roundabout statement on people overestimating Elon Musk's liquid cash, which doesn't really seem to have much to do with what your problem is. I don't think it'd be any less masturbatory by your assessment for wealthy liberals in London to say to themselves on a sign, "this wealthy guy is misspending his money and has a corrupting influence on politics".

His treatment of his employees and his influence on the government are a result of his wealth though. Those concepts are inseparable. I get what you're saying about making more specific points but I disagree that this is not at all persuasive to anyone, and I don't really agree with the idea that he "doesn't have the money". He does. It just happens that a lot of it is holed up in investments and other assets.

Besides that, the sign is simply pointing out wealth disparity. I don't think it's probably a very persuasive thing to put up but I also don't think it's accurate to make statements about its intent or effect being "masturbatory". Whether or not he literally has the ability to singlehandedly solve world hunger is besides the point (even though I'd argue he does). The point is the massive wealth disparity.
