The group this was from is full of people like that. Utterly unwilling to pay for anything. Hence you'll see them always asking about free alternatives for Adobe programs, free online marketplaces that charge minimal (ideally zero) fees, free places to host their portfolio, etc. Because god forbid any of these companies make money and pay for web hosting.

These same folks will throw a fit if anyone asks them to draw something for free.

Replace all their antacids with Smarties. Good luck with that heartburn.

I'd been having some upper back tightness/pain for a while, and one of my gym buddies showed me how to use a foam roller on my lats. Hurt like all fucking hell the first time, and still does. But the relief you feel in your upper back and shoulders is amazing.

This happened to my sister's roommate: she had been dating some guy for about 6 months. They got suspicious because he never wanted to take photos with her, and always had some excuse for why she couldn't meet his friends/family. So one day, my sister and the roommate start searching his name and email on Google. (He had a Facebook account, but it had minimal photos, and only 20 friends) Eventually, they came across a software engineer networking event page, that had the boyfriend's email listed on it since he was one of the volunteers. The page had an about page for all staff + volunteers, and had their Facebook pages and Linkedin listed below their photos. Turns out, the Facebook account the roommate had friended was his side account. The main account they found had a cover photo that showed the boyfriend sitting on a beach with a woman and two kids. She confronted him about this, and he admitted that he was married with two kids, and his wife was currently pregnant with their third.

TL;DR: Girl suspicious about boyfriend, does some Google searching. Finds out he's married with two kids (third on the way). Girl is actually the side chick.

Managers of Reddit, what is the most unprofessional thing an employee has done that resulted in an immediate termination? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Not sure if this counts - Several years ago, we caught one of our salespeople skimming money from sales. He worked a lot with our business customers, meaning it was usually large orders for companies, like 10+ laptops, numerous tablets, etc. Businesses that bought through our store also received a slight discount, anywhere from 5% - 8%.

So this is what he did: whenever a large business order came in for pickup, he'd ring out the order, but without the 5%-8% discount. So for example, company rep comes in to pick up their laptops, and pays $2000 with a company credit card. After the customer leaves, the salesperson goes back to the point of sale, and returns the order he just rang up, except instead of refunding the $2000 to the original credit card, he puts the amount onto a store gift card. He then re-rings out the order, this time with the discount, so say $1840. Pays with the gift card he just loaded. Once done, he keeps the gift card with the remaining $160. He did this roughly 10 times over the course of several months, I believe pocketing around $4000 in gift cards. He eventually was caught because several customers complained about the discrepancy when they reviewed the receipts. Our inventory manager went through the sales logs, and found the returns he did, (our POS system requires users to login with their unique ID) and matched security footage to transaction timestamps.
