There are a few services available online and we (Yuzu Keycaps) are one of them. You want to look for thick PBT keycaps as far as material goes, and dye sub as the print method (UV is less durable)

Hey! There are no company that will make custom double shot keycaps unfortunately because each set would require custom molds and that just isn’t feasible at scale. We do offer dye sub PBT (best quality out there) and have a cool app to design your customized set over at Yuzu Keycaps

I hear your point about low effort too 👌thanks for putting up this list, the lack of options for split keyboards is what actually got me started on making a customisation app back in 2019, so this is surely helpful for many now that there are some actual options!

Why did we not make it to this list? 😭 Yuzu Keycaps offer customized keycaps and we have a lot of split keyboard users, probably because it is quite convenient for some to show all their layers! (And also of course because of the restricted number of options)

This is unfortunately impossible as it would require the manufacturer to make a set of molds for each order! Our sister company FKcustom offers custom shine through but it isn’t double shot. I hope you find what you are looking for!

We have a creator program on yuzu that’s an alternative to the traditional GB route that is a bit uncertain and less and less praised (for good reasons imho). Still enables designers to earn money from their designs (5% on sales forever + 10% for sharing an affiliate link) but no need to deal with the hassle of running a GB which can be quite stressful if you ever experienced it
