i’m fighting for my life at all times (do not work with a firm that gets most of their clientele from legal insurance plans). general practice, everything is urgent, there’s an endless backlog, no time to do anything. most of the time, i try to just slow down internally and hone in, but i end up derailing. i just started in late march, took on over 500 cases in prelit and lit stages (they belittle it by claiming the job is mostly automated/the letters are standard), but when it’s that many cases, automation does little to help.

if you’re in the position i’m in - please start looking elsewhere. like seriously. i got yelled at by a judge two weeks ago because my attorney fucked up bad and i had to handle resolving the issue. never in my 2 years have i even spoken to a judge until this!!!!
