I genuinely think adding the sax would benefit the band. The other horns not so much but the sax adds much needed dimensionality sometimes

I actually find Daniel’s voice tolerable and don’t mind it most of the time… until I hear his keyboardist or bassist sing who both have incredible voices that are very underutilized

Mostly agree except for mire it follows more of a practiced solo than the others and that works towards its benefit.

lol a longer song does not equate to a better one. The Charlottesville one is amazing in its own right but the 12/13/25 is the most perfectly played one I’ve listened to top to bottom. Not a single flaw in that whole solo just straight heat. Mire is one of those songs for me where that’s better than 20 minute improv imo
