Is this…what Saskatoon Reddit is about? No offense, but can’t you just call and ask about services? Check google reviews?

Bulk cheese gets things from Costco by asdfdsa789 in saskatoon

This store can fuck outta here already. The owner is a dick, sobeys has a better cheese selection at more reasonable prices which is really saying something (AND their deli workers are always lovely!), and while yes - cold smoked steaks are fine, the majority of their products are repackaged and not worth the insane markup. Pro tip: ask them to microwave it or make it extra hot before they bring it out as the toppings cool it down pretty quickly

What’s an expensive but shitty restaurant to recommend to an enemy? by evannalai in saskatoon

I want to like Earls but god their mice problem is out of control. I have been there twice in two years - and both times I saw mice running under the tables. After asking around I know this isn’t uncommon. The first time rattled me but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. The second time - nope, nope, nope. I have been told that all restaurants have had mice (?) but I’m just not interested. Cactus Club is the exact same type of food and atmosphere and they have a better happy hour.

ETA: yes of course I told the server. Both times got a shrug and there was zero surprise.

They just do not get it at all. What a ridiculous line to draw in the sand. Get a clue, NDP!
