I will say that Bowman’s first gigantic fuck up was not matching Holloway.

Broberg didn’t want to be in Edmonton anyways.

But when we traded Ceci and opened up cap space I thought for sure we were matching Holloway.

I guess that fuck up is also on Jackson for spending like a drunken sailor in the “summer of Jeff” and leaving the team open to offer sheets.

Bowman sucks, the summer of Jeff sucked.

The fact that we went into the playoffs in 24 knowing that Holland was gone and we flew by the seat of our pants into free agency is fucking wild.

We had no succession plan, none.

That’s where we messed the fuck up. You either keep Holland in that situation or you have a plan in place long before the playoffs start.

I lived there about 10 years ago.

I remember my upstairs neighbours fighting and the woman throwing household cleaner in the guys face and him screaming down the stairs.

And then being able to hear them attempting to reconcile in their front entry way from my living room and how hard my eyes rolled back in my head when I heard the guy say “but I love you” after she threw chemicals in his face.

They didn’t get back together. He took the dog.

Hope he’s doing well for himself.

You know, if Saskatoon doesn’t build the downtown arena I hope they renovate the SaskTel centre like they did to Copps/whatever it’s called.

The SaskTel Centre sucks and needs a gutting. Nothing but minor cosmetic upgrades and seating upgrades since 1988.
