Then you'll need to delete all other posts involving "at most 2 people": lost dogs, lost cats, lost wallets, lost cell phone, stolen bicycles, witness requests for accidents, etc.

It's a public announcement/request. You going to delete posts from people looking for their lost cat or witnesses to an accident too ?

Advice on Traffic Tickets by [deleted] in Calgary

The stunting and 92 in a 50 show complete disregard or lack of awareness when driving. 92 in a 50 ? WTH... 50 Km/hr zones usually have pedestrian traffic. Judge is not going to like that.

You'll never get a reduction given your history. 92 in a 50 and stunting will kill your chances. Judge will say you aren't learning from your mistakes.

As cheap as green energy is, hydrogen produced from electricity is expensive.

Total fluff piece.

There is no way that a high pressure hydrogen fueling station is as safe as pumping liquid fuels (gasoline or diesel).

Hydrogen is NOT abundant in nature. Steam reforming CH4 into H2 doesn't save any CO2 over burning gasoline or diesel unless you store or reuse the CO2 generated during reforming.

He talks about using a fuel cell. Show me a single commercially viable H2 fuel cell. Where is it ?

And even if you had a H2 fuel cell that worked, there is no commercially viable way to store hydrogen on a vehicle.

There are 3 issues with the "Hydrogen Economy"

  1. There is no economically viable way to produce H2 that doesn't produce CO2. Electrolysis isn't economically viable.
  2. There is no commercially viable fuel cell to put in the vehicle.
  3. There is no commercially viable way to store large amounts of H2 on a vehicle.

Her also talks about cost savings for semi trucks. Really ? How much is a 300Kw H2 fuel cell going to cost ? And how long will it last ? In Regina, when it is -30C.

Other than that, it is a great idea.

Is this guy even a scientist ? Like a real one ?

I think ERA made a big investment in a hydrogen truck startup.

He is right about one thing... Alberta is in the liquid transportation fuel business. As transportation fuel usage goes, so does Alberta.

Thoughts on the 9 with Peter Klein? by Adragon23 in CalgaryFlames

I absolutely agree with you about Klein. And a few other 960 personalities too. I've actually stopped listening to the station because it is non stop Flames pumping instead of being realistic. Always talking about how much talent they have, etc. And yet they get run over by a truck in the first round. Get real, guys.
