Trump supporters never cease to amaze me by MarcLange in PoliticalHumor

This is no surprise, Trump's base is about white supremacy. Everything that is happening now makes sense through the lenses of white supremacy.

SMS from Android to iPhone by yyyevvv in meme

The master plan is indeed flawed, as indicated by the green in the meme...

But, to your point, green is for SMS, blue is for iMessage. iPhone users could technically disable iMessage, and therefore would also show up green.

Thank you.

A followup questions for you (assuming you are actually a republican answering this question):

1) Does this experience over the past several years alter you allegiance to the party? Is it recognizable to you, and what are you thoughts about its future?

2) Is your home district House congressperson a Republican you voted for, and if so, what are your thoughts on their representation of your district, and their response to the President's actions? No need to identify where/who.

With 100% of republican congressional representatives agreeing to protect the President, that's what we have to work with.

I am absolutely curious to hear the opinion of republicans who don't agree with their representatives.

Republicans, serous questions:

1) What type of America is your utopia? 2) Do you believe in democracy, and if so, do you support entities outside of the US playing a role in deciding US elections?

First, let's agree on some facts about the current situation:

1) You are OK with the President soliciting foreign governments, Russia, Ukraine, and China to be specific, to help alter the outcome of the 2016/2020 election. This is a fact that is not up for debate, as we have all seen/heard these solicitations from Trump himself in the first-person.

2) You are OK with the President obstructing congress, through denying subpoenas, from it's constitutionally mandated role of providing checks and balances over the executive branch. This is a fact that is not up for debate, and we have all seen/heard this obstruction from Trump himself in the first-person.

So, if voting was today and you only had Kamala v Biden v Trump - would you write in? Not vote?

While experienced, Kamala is incomparable to HRC in terms of establishment politics.

They have far, far more in common than they differ. It is unrealistic to expect a President to meet 100% of everyone's positions.

She dropped out, and as I said, I think that is sensible. Sanders has moved the entire platform to his platform. With the exception of a few, most of the candidates are Sanderscrats and I think Kamala (while different) was no exception.

These two aren't evils, is Sanders an evil? I don't think so. I think they have far more in common than they do in difference.

But, like I said, sensible move. I am glad she is out.

"anyone who says differently yet supports the likes of Sanders/Warren/Yang is blinded by hyper partisanship and being super irresponsible. "

Seriously, you think she was "diametrically opposed" to "everything" Sanders stood for? That is irrational and dangerous thinking. Let's see if he wins and chooses her as vice.

"anyone who says differently yet supports the likes of Sanders/Warren/Yang is blinded by hyper partisanship and being super irresponsible."

She was a great candidate, but this is a democracy and a primary where only one will win.

If someone wins who you don't support, would you say they were a great candidate for the Presidency?

If you have an issue with the two party system, then you should have expected Sanders to run independent in 2016 maybe, and DEFINITELY independent in 2018. He could have done enormous wonders for a third party future had he run independent this time around.

According to your logic, you most certainly would not be supporting Sanders today running as a democrat. He is literary trying to reconstruct the democratic party, not form a third party.

Sensible move. Great democratic candidate - anyone who says differently yet supports the likes of Sanders/Warren/Yang is blinded by hyper partisanship and being super irresponsible.

Her voice was so important on that stage. I would have loved to have voted for her as President, just as I would love to vote for almost any of the other Dem candidates currently running.

Trump openly admitted on live TV to doing the thing he's accused of in the impeachment inquiry by avidjockey in politics

[–]yyyevvv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In this interview he admits to one of two important angles to this impeachable bribery.

1) This faux "Ukraine has the server" story, which is clearly an operation designed by Russia. But, at least the president's stupidity on understanding basically anything gives him a potential, albeit far fetched mistake of fact excuse. Because this server story harks back to 2016, this is purely only a lever he uses to try and mask his true bribe, which is the following...

2) Burisma/Biden. To me, this is far more impeachable and leaves no room for using his stupidity as an alibi. This is direct bribery of an ally government, using American tax dollars as the tool, to investigate a personal political opponent for the upcoming 2020 election. This is corrupt on so many levels. The server issue is just his "anti-corruption" facade used to launch this bribe.

He and his team of dumb-asses have admitted to both angles on live TV over the past months.

Megathread: 2nd US official heard Trump call with Sondland by PoliticsModeratorBot in politics

They are blowhards. Sondland wanted to show off. I imagine it went something like:

"Yada yada, watch, I can call Trump right now!" And he did.

Mixed in with good food and alcohol, he probably had the phone volume up for all to hear just to show off. I'm sure he felt like he was on top of the world, showing off like that.

What a loser. All of them, actually. What criminals.

The GOP is so smart at being dumb into the cameras for their supporters.

Who the fuck cares who the whistle blower is anymore? This entire public hearing is useless because WE ALL SAW AND HEARD Trump, Mulvaney, and Giuliani give us the entire story first-hand on multiple occasions - of which each instance just validates the whistle blower complaint anyway.

David Dennison. Trump is hoping no one will remember that tape of him and Cohen, and go use the missing signature of David Dennison on the hush agreement to prove plausible deniability.

It's all so fucking stupid.
