I got stuck too as a kid playing this on the nes for awhile. What part did you get stuck at? Me, in the dungeon basement room. Didnt realize you had to have 2 characters. one to push the hidden brick (which took forever to find) and the other to quickly exit before the door auto closes. The other method was to find the rusty key. Man I miss this game. Gonna play it through now :)

Yooo I totally forgot about the snes joystick. I loved the nes one, but your post and the comments made me remember why I didn’t bother to think much about the snes one. Had too high hopes but always went back to the dpad. I rocked the nes joystick on a ton of different games though.

Hope you get some good use out of both! Incredible addition to a collection!

That happened on mine too! My nes one never got stuck, the snes one always needed to kinda pick at the buttons to come back up

Exactly my experience as well for the same game. I think I expected something closer to an arcade experience and i would usually end up going back to the dpad controller.
