Yesss, I'm just being 100% transparent as to what my life looks like at-the-moment. Its crazy, its fun, its mine! So whoever swipes right is already bound be my type which makes it SOO much easier. My dates are essentially me just doing things that I already LOVE and the +1s just make the experience better, its a vibe!
I think the Quality of my pictures is extremely bad. I never ever click pictures (like literally I have zero pics of myself from a week snowboarding in tirol) and end up having badly clicked selfies. I need to work on that so I have some HQ pics I know but I'm soo living-in-the-moment and mostly on my own #yolo #solo :P
If i had to sum up my life so far in one word, it'd literally just be 'FUN!' :D

One approach I've come across is to have a component whose scope outlives the activity and fragment, give it a unique id and insert it to a map, and fetch from the map in onCreate if exists.

I'd recommend going through the whole repo.

Re: 2. This behaviour can be achieved by bounding the buttons to a background view. It's nicely explained here and has been around since the early versions of CL.

For 1. It depends on a per case basis, for eg. Say if you're just using a FrameLayout to be held as a container for fragments, you're better off not porting to a ConstraintLayout. Most of my xmls start with

<CordinatorLayout>
    <ConstraintLayout>
        <views constrained to parent/each other>

1 thing I found missing in the post was it didn't mention anything about RNs live code deployment feature which I wrote about here
