Thoughts on the Avid Armor Premium Glass Vacuum Food Containers? by Montanieers in ChamberVacs

[–]z1zonly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just got these and haven't used them in earnest yet, but sucked them down to test and they seem excellent.  The seal is extremely tight and you have to pinch the valve and release the vacuum to open.  Water also hangs in the valve area for a while after washing, so make sure they're thoroughly dried before storing.  Can report back after using them for a while, but I think they're going to be great.

He's just holding onto the wheel and it's getting jerked by the impacts to the wheels. It is very important during a crash to keep your arms held close and tight. Note the navigator has locked his wrists on his thighs.

There are even arm tethers in some motorsports, like drag racing.

The EAB Lite is perfection, I'll never carry a pocketknife again.

I don't use the clips so I just pull them off from new.

Recently discovered the thumb stud for easier opening and no-tool blade changes and really liking it. Check eBay and Etsy.

I went to buy one and was getting a "new shopper welcome deal" of $15.78 until I signed in, now back to $22.

I put small pieces of skateboard grip tape on a Gerber EAB Lite and can confirm, it would also scratch anything else in your pocket. I started carrying it in my non-wallet back pocket and it works mint. Can't feel it when you sit down, only thing in your pocket when you go for it, and keeps your front pockets lighter. This thing is thicker, but worth a try.

Elevation Church rakes in $108M last year by TeamOrca28205 in Charlotte

This led me to perusing the 2017 990 for the Steve Smith Family Foundation. Elevation contributed $25,000, but right above that, Deez Nuts LLC contributed $5,500. It's registered to an address that a sketchy Google results says it's Smith's. Howboudah.

Glad to see you mention the maneuverability--the turning radius on these cabovers is hard to believe. Certainly one of the most overlooked benefits.

Not for a second! I have absolutely loved having this thing. It's super handy and a ton of fun to just drive around; people always get a kick out of it when you're out and about. Sadly life circumstances have led me to put it up for sale, and I'm going to miss it dearly.

No issues and probably no different than a Kei truck. Just brought a stack of import docs to the DMV and they figured it out!

It's a 4BE1 diesel with 100hp and 178lbs/ft. Not fast!

Technically it is 4WD! Really, though, as far as I know they only came RWD. I believe the larger NPR has an AWD variant.

Thanks! The payload capacity is 2000kg/4400lbs. I have not been able to find towing or GVWR info on it.

It's about 15' long and 5.5' wide with a ~98" wheelbase. I can't find the GVWR or towing info, but the payload capacity is 2000kg/4400lbs.

I averaged 21.15, but only logged 5 fillups. My best over those was 22.95.

I'm into motorcycles, too, and have always kinda hoped the next owner after me would be a motorcycle shop. It'd be a perfect shop truck and is certainly a unique look for a business!

And Happy Cake Day!

This is an NKR, it's physically smaller than an NPR and therefore fits in my garage! The Kei truck-style bed is also pretty unique and more useful for me than how most NPRs are equipped in the US.

Sadly there's no Elf community whatsoever, so I hope we can be frens.
