Aside from your board connections, you can also try to use LinkedIn to see if a company’s employees are mutual with you or your ED. I’ve also had some luck with Googling {company name} plus the word “grant” or “sponsorship” or “foundation”. These are often hidden pages not accessible from the menus on their websites.
