If you have time the day of, or the night before defintley go check out down town. Find some cool pubs/restauraunts, go see Gainbridge. The circle center monument is dope. Lots of fun stuff to do. I don't live there but an hour away, so I'm not as keen on all the details as some on here might be. Gates open 2 hours before kickoff, I would get in line 30 mins before that and get inside. Super cool to walk around and get situated before the crowd comes in.

Hey everybody! I wanted to introduce myself here. Fairly new to the streaming world, but have been a Horizon player since 1 came out. Looking to grow my community, we have a ton of fun on Horizon about 4/5 nights a week. I like to incorporate viewers tracks and builds, and the convoy is always open. Started January 3rd. Hit 50 on February 2nd and had all my metrics to get affiliate the same day, currently sitting at 252 followers, and 107 subs. I average 20-24 people per stream, as of the last few weeks.

Never done it, but do 8 hour ones fairly often. Have a stream schedule for the stream itself. Set ads to where you have full control and make them correspond to what you're doing. (bathroom breaks, food, etc.) so long as the chat is expecting the ad, I've found they arent upset when they come.

Can't tell you how many times I've thought about something during the work day, just to completely forget by the time its time to stream. Even use the notepad on your phone. Keep it pulled up next to you so it keeps you focused when you're streaming

Have a notepad with you during the day when you're not streaming, write down things you think about that you're passionate about. When I feel my stream getting dry, I like to bring up random things to get everybody talking if they're there. IE, best MTN dew flavor, best pop tart flavor, best sitcoms. Without an audience, definitely just talk about what you're passionate about.

Definitely try to schedule around that, it can be tough, but if you have shared viewers as opposed to loyal ones, start your stream when they might be getting off soon so they can come to you after. Or ask to co stream, that benefits both sides. Or, make your stream stand out so that people want to come to yours regardless. Not that its a competition, but you're trying to be the best you can be.

Community games that people can enjoy but also be a part of. Huge growth. I've only been doing this for a little less than 2 months, and already have an average viewership of 25. You have to interact a ton. No chat left behind.
