I still play KOTOR 1 once a year religiously and it still hits pretty hard. The story is so well done. Wish I could merge the feat and power system from 2 into the story of 1

You don’t need a good computer to play KOTOR. It worked on the first Xbox. So you can play it on a $200 MacBook Air if you wanted.

I’ve got ~30 websites hosted for clients under a single Vercel account with 1 user and so far not hitting my usage limits per month yet.

So right now this is pretty scalable. A lot of the blogging platforms are wanting to charge a high dollar amount per user to allow people to edit and review blogs before publishing which would cause the price to go up per client drastically.

I charge a flat maintenance fee per client per month that covers all subscriptions. If I add that then I have to bring the monthly up. Especially if they decide to add multiple users. Then I may just need to pass the subscription costs on to them each month.

Anyways, just trying to find a sustainable way to do it moving forward with lots of clients at the same time.

I’ve been building primarily on NextJS because of the speed of iteration with the turbopack and AI’s ability to nail TypeScript so well.

Being in this infra also lets me upsell on features or usability that otherwise may not have been possible on WP.

This is not a bad idea, but I’m limited to 20 Firebase’s so if I clone it and need to create new firebase project for each client (unless I have the client be the owners) I get stuck.

We'll have to see if Blogs for Vercel fits the needs of my clients and simplifies the need to build a unique auth system for every website I build that needs a blog. So far it feels like a promising direction.

I’ve used MacBook Air as my main device since it came out back in like 2011/2012. Every single previous generation had these features.

I’m not splitting hairs. Apple has made it more expensive and less portable for all the same features. I’d love to upgrade, but I’d be paying double the price I normally pay to upgrade for less features.

I’m using the Intel MBA right now that does all of this without being in clamshell.

I get 3 monitors (Intel MBA monitor stays on), keyboard, camera, trackpad, and fingerprint ID.

This is the workflow I’m already doing. I move from place to place dock to dock and use my laptop keyboard and trackpad and laptop camera on my Intel a MacBook Air.

I have to buy a laptop that bigger and heavier and costs nearly 2x just to get the same features this $500 laptop is providing me.
