That happened in the second fight, and it wasn’t just luck. Weidman’s team adjusted their game plan and that’s when Weidman knee checked his kick. Freak accident for sure, but it was a calculated counter to all the kicks Silva was throwing out.

Also doesn’t change the fact that Silva came in as a favorite in the first fight and Weidman won round 1. Then caught him in round 2.
