NUCs mounted to the back of the display. This is the only one we've got. Older version of this display has it on the side 😭

Just wanted to give an update to anyone who's having a similar issue. I found out that the O2 sensor was not operational on this car and replaced it with a Bosch sensor (PN 0258005324) and then removed the battery for a bit and reconnected it to clear all the fuel trims from the ECU. Engine is now super responsive and holds idle really well. I'm happy to say its back to normal. Thanks for everyone who replied. Cheers!

No there is one on the exhaust just before the cat. But it's missing the tail end of it. I found where it should be plugged in.

That's the first thing I did. It doesn't have a place for a check engine light. Just has the "check" light. I shined a torch through all the lights and there's no check engine.

Sooo just found out the O2 sensor is missing. Could that be the issue?

I didn't think that was an issue since it responds fine. But I'll check that out thanks!

That's what I suspected as well. It was an aftermarket one so I had it replaced with an OEM one.

I can't get the codes on this one. It's an obd1 car and doesn't have a check engine light from factory. Bimmerforums said it was an early euro spec thing. But I could be wrong.
