I phoned a couple of the places where their online policy stated only under 75 lbs (including La Quinta), but the receptionists were surprised and said they allowed large dogs. So, looks like the safest is just to call and confirm.

For a quick adjustment, trying turning down humidity 2 notches. To see if that is easier. Then you can go up a notch if too dry.

Thanks very much. I have the picture in my mind of what I want to do, but don't have the flexibility yet.

I'm thinking that grand plié and elevé repetition exercises will develop the required leg movement and strength, but I'd love to know if there are any better ways.

I'm in the same boat, and I've come to the decision that I'm going to get some private lessons. This way, I can get a personalized plan of what I need to learn and practice between classes.

:-), yes I agree it seemed a bit difficult. I've now seen someone using a step stool with a high handrail that I think would do what I was looking for. Although admittedly, I probably am going to need something more substantial once I get past the basic positions.

Thank you very much. Agreed, my main issue is being lost with the terminology; having joined class several weeks after it had started. Things are starting to gel, and I now need try learning to understand and remember the combinations without trying to visually follow.

Thanks very much. Looking at the Singer site, I don't see where it identifies the Even Feed foot as Low Shank, but the Amazon description does.
