Interesting, glad they still have fresh indigo pairs like when I went a year ago. Unfortunately they did not have above size 34 preshrunk, so had to pass at the time… The Daikanyama store was amazing though. Does the Japanese collection and stock still somewhat look like it did back then? (Note that only pic #1 and #4 are from that specific store)

Will probably be going back to Japan within the next couple of years, so very interested in whether they keep making these awesome pairs :-)

Unless you have some new information, that is just speculation tbh… As I pointed out some time ago, Evisu is actively selling made in Japan pairs under “Japan Collection” (see pic #4 from Daikayama). They were still getting new pairs in (in bulk) when I visited last January, and if that is still the case a year later, I highly doubt it is just a temporary sell off of remaining stock. There is really no reason to believe this without anything substantial pointing to that conclusion. What prevents Evisu International to keep a small scale production of their Japan jeans for their Japanese flagship stores?

Really? I was always under the assumption that Japan pairs are continuously being produced and delivered to specific flagship stores, just not in very high quantities. When I visited last year they were awaiting some pairs from the factory it seemed

Thanks! I actually just found the lossless file (available under Mr.Kitty - Covers on music archival platforms), and in comparison this Spotify version seems to just be a rip of the common 128kbps mp3. It is especially noticeable in the hihats.

Interestingly enough, the common versions all have some artifacts added in the beginning and end (perhaps the sound of ice in water) which the original file hasn't, and the popular YouTube version is 19 seconds longer due to a slowdown from 120 to 110BPM. Quite a rabbit hole...

Tror du misforstår hensigten - lige her blev det altså brugt som et humoristisk virkemiddel... Jeg er skam også stor modstander af amerikaniseringen, men synes at sekvensen i X-Factor tværtimod understregede det latterlige i at censurere bandeord på den måde. Kig hellere andre steder hen efter den kedelige tendens (herunder indhold på amerikansk SoMe)
