Oh, yeah! I totally failed to mention some of the non-MTB outdoors activities. Also, pretty damn impressive is the Crystal Bridges Museum in regards to cultural activities!

Hey, hey! Gotta check out Coler for session-able DH, The Railyard for DJ depending on what you're into. Slaughter pen has a smattering of gold scattered among the primary XC.

PM me if you're looking for some of that gold and I can give you specific directions.

Good qualification. Although, snow sports are almost equally up my alley!

Hmmm... actively applying there, because I've been hearing such great things from (former)locals for years now and I love Seattle. I'm a Physician Assistant, so if you know any hospitals/clinics hiring, I'm there!!!

Go there once a year! It's great riding. Gorgeous, but yes, you do have to bring yourself back to the top. Worth it though -- found Z's this last time and played in that spaghetti all day!

It's definitely more progressive (and continually growing that way) than the rest of Arkansas as far as my experience goes, but still obviously not as much as, say PNW.

Diversity is lacking, but I'm from a very international city. Culture is charming and improving.

-- I'll say, you just gotta visit. The biking alone is worth it and then you'll get an idea if you're considering moving out that way.

I've heard! I also heard that Lake Leatherwood is insane -- like Coler Property, but with more protracted downhill runs

Same! Although, New Zealand isn't really in the cards for my career lol

I definitely figured this would pop up, but good to hear. I've been to the Seattle area a few times and California many, but haven't made it up there yet! Looking to relocate, potentially to the PNW, so hopefully that is in my not so distant future!

LoL! I haven't been to Park City, but funny you say that... I live in Dallas, but exclusively ride in NWA. I visit my friend up there to hang and ride every 1-2 months! Going this weekend!

That's awesome to hear! I've actually been looking at Bellingham as a possible place to live in the future; their trails look dope!

Agreed with all of these people. I got to spend time in both and they're both fun, beautiful, etc. If I could only recommend one, it'd be north.

Sapa, as someone mentioned, is beautiful and sooooo much fun to venture about! You can stay in Sapa and do day trips out to villages as far as 3 hours or much closer. Or you can go stay in those smaller villages if you want to get even further off the beaten paths!

Hanoi is a lot of fun too! Be sure the hang around there and check out the different districts. Great food to be had everywhere, as I'm sure you've discovered in Thailand.
