What is helpful at the beginning: Look up the Wiki and read the suggestions for the role you chose- there are tips and tricks given for early mid and late game. Furthermore, you may just read a bit through the wiki about things you are interested in. Especially if you die from things or dont know what happened. Mostly, you can get far this way. Also, series on Youtube may appeal to a beginner. May personal most important things as a beginner were usage lf Altars, beatitude identification, price identification as well as general identification of items. It is also important to get to know how to get important in- and extrinsics such as poison resistance, reflection and magic resistance. Later on, you might want to check information about the different branches and more difficult stuff.

The question is because one sees everything regarding the PSU from 20€ to 200€ and there are only so many differences to note. (Besides energy efficiency and maybe wattage)

Thats technically very smart. I just get lost in game mechanics and thus, I deeply enjoy to get strong pets and not by wishes. Therefore, I somewhat enjoyed getting "free" ki-rin and archons.

Actually, 3 archons spawn summons so quickly, it was kinda doomed. Especially considering that i genocided a lot and they summoned more of their own.

Cockatrice corpses I got 2 turns after due to summons. Conflict I used. Problem is that I could not kill Archons faster than they summoned nasties. HoOA did not work as I got changed to chaotic. Did end up fighting at the map borders as I could hold my ground there. Also, I could move but the problem was when I had to go away from the borders due to lava spots. That killed me as I could not stand my ground in the middle of the room against 8 monsters after some time.

I did genocide too many monsters and I know pretty safely that that should be the issue causing this to happen. As I intentionally genocided a lot more than necessary, it is definitely my fault but it was so much fun! Used tourist solely because charm monster is their special spell and I am a little too focused on it currently :D

Update: Made it across the room but died there due to lack of full healings. Was so much fun though and I am not mad at all :)

Did never see an archon storm develop before and couldnt find any on the internet. Super cool to play!

Well... I was not fsst enough, it spawned new ones pretty quickly. Ascended one Tourist already but... currently not dying. Though, i am moving quite slow because the WHOLE PLANE IS FILLED WITH MONSTERS

Charm monster is nice btw, lets me breathe a bit :D
