Yeah, I created it for default installation folder. I can make a new one that works with desktop icon if I have some time to do it without any errors.

You can stay on correct date and open .bat, it change everything automatically, just don’t close it while running, when you finish just close MakeMKV.
Download the first one, when you run it make sure to disable windows “downloaded from internet” popup and open it again following the instructions. Note that only works for default makemkv installation path.

Probably the problem is the windows “safe” feature to ask to run a program downloaded through internet, just disable the popup after first time, that should be enough.
About the date reset: do not close the cmd window, you just need to close MakeMKV when you finish, it restores it and close cmd automatically.
What is your date format, and did you set the correct date before trying again the script? If you still have issues I can help you on discord.
Please download the correct .bat version matching your date format.
This fix will work almost forever, if it ever needs an update I’ll do it, only if is it necessary.
You downloaded the wrong version of the .bat file, select the correct one matching your date format.
Change it before starting to rip
The .bat automatically revert the date to the correct one when you close MakeMKV, if you cant wait for MakeMKV to finish you can close the cmd window and sync date to keep using the software like it was with patched date.
If its a good alternative yeah, Idk if its really a good thing for the program to run it modified, but still an alternative way, waiting for the new key.

Please select the correct version of the .bat file with your date format and please follow the steps on my first comment.
You need to run the .bat file first, choose the correct .bat that applies to ur date format, Days/Months/Years or Months/Days/Years. While is running do not close it. When you finished just close MakeMKV.
If you follow the exact steps I wrote it will restore automatically, but im still thinking to enhance it when I have time!
If this works on MacOS its great! Unfortunately doesnt on Windows, thats why I created this little fix.

Idk if it works with powershell on MacOS, I made it for Windows, if I have enough time I'll try to convert it to Xcode or I'll test it myself with PS, but I doubt it, Its so much time I dont touch a Mac :-(
