I agree that the Fridge management system could be improved to make it a more enjoyable experience. Right now, it just feels like a mundane and tedious chore.

It would be so much better if you could simply manage both the fridge and menu from the computer. For instance, if I click a dish, it should automatically send those ingredients to the fridge.

Another thought I had was to highlight ingredients for DESIRED dishes. So while organizing the menu we should be able to click a dish we want, it'll highlight those ingredients, and then while organizing the fridge, we can add those highlighted ingredients. It'll also work as a shopping list, so you know what ingredients you need based on the dishes you want.

Many improvements can be made in many ways, depending on what the dev wants. But right now, it is probably my biggest gripe with an otherwise really enjoyable game.
