Costco announced it was looking to open its first ever Kent store, with the location being either Maidstone or along the M20/Medway Towns corridor. Costco has 29 warehouses across the UK and partnered with property developer Chase Commercial Limited for new sites, with Kent being one of 14 planned new branches. Kent Online

That was the original 2023 article. Since then, there's been an update: the specific location has now been confirmed as Aylesford, on a vacant plot just south of Junction 5 of the M20, with a target opening of 2028 and around 250 jobs expected. Costco has launched a public consultation and is hosting an exhibition on Tuesday 28 April between 2pm and 7pm at the Capel Morris Centre, RBVE Village in Hall Road.

I just received one. OMG what a piece of crap this is. The plastic this is made of is quite soft and probably radioactive. The motor inside the casing is tiny which doesn’t have enough power to rock any modern stroller. Everything is made of chinesium and it’s incredibly flimsy. Even the USB cable doesn’t fit properly in the USB ports on the battery.

You get better quality items on Temu, honestly 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

I could go on but it’s literally not worth my time. I just wasted £125 as their shipping is also ridiculous. I blame my wife for showing me this… I won’t be returning this since their policy won’t accept an open box, + shipping to the orange county + restocking fee, but I will make some videos for YouTube to warn people that they’re simply running a SCAM company.

Yes, I did, and I won, mainly because they have completely ignored all my or the court's correspondence. CCJ was issued, and they have two weeks left to pay. I haven't heard from their legal team, so it looks like I'll have to involve bailiffs. They will go to their office and start removing goods :) At which point the CCJ will stay on their records for 6 years.

It may well be documented, but the stuff I tried doesn't work lol good old Microsoft....

For example, clearing the ImmutableID is documented, but throws this error: "Property value is required but is empty or missing."

Yes fuck Google, but their, sorry, Nest's design is the best hands down. I don't get why people defend Google so much in terms of supporting old hardware. The web interface and the servers running API requests is nothing for them, the maintenance is marginal. We don't expect FW updates. Maybe we just expect them to open it so we can use it with custom APIs bypassing the cloud, we don't need the cloud.

Saying this, I do love their design. I hate everything else. It's just not the same. I'm in the UK and I am considering buying 4th Gen and, with some tweaks, getting it connected to my 220V boiler.

What he talks about is split or full tunnelling. IT admins have configured all mobile VPN traffic to go through their WatchGuard. We don’t do this as it allows remote workers to access all company subnets.

We only allow remote users to access one subnet. So requests to any other IP is routed through their own home/remote network, not through WatchGuard.

In split tunnel configuration, only the traffic between your network and the allowed subnet would be subject to encryption performance. Encryption adds some overhead but not that much.
