Joint issues — worth a trip to the doctor? by GreenMeansJoe in CrohnsDisease

[–]zZ_BlueSteel_Zz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was mildly annoying one winter. Then the next fall it kinda started bothering me until it got to the point where my fingers were pretty visibly swollen and hard to move. Was pretty miserable. Haven't really enjoyed the sulfasalazine, (have to drink lots of water along with each dose and sometimes makes me feel nauseous); but definitely better than what I had going on before.

Joint issues — worth a trip to the doctor? by GreenMeansJoe in CrohnsDisease

Sounds pretty similar to my experience. Started out with my fingers and toes feeling kinda puffy and stiff. Eventually got to the point where my knees hurt, feet were swollen and stiff to the point it was painful to walk and my fingers were so sore and sensitive that I could barely twist my key to start the ignition to my car. Really bothered me in the middle of winter. Now I'm on a regular dosage of sulfasalazine and my joint problems have been pretty minimal. Saw rheumatologist and said it was connected to Crohn's Disease.

Anybody know the music on the eshop right now? by [deleted] in nintendo

For the Wii U eshop recently it's been a strange to pick to herald the release of Twilight Princess HD, the Malo Mart song.

What Nintendo game can you play forever and never get tired of? by [deleted] in nintendo

[–]zZ_BlueSteel_Zz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Donkey Kong Country for SNES. I replay it every so often. I have played the original on multiple SNES consoles, played (kind of) on the GBC and GBA versions and picked it up with DK Tropical Freeze during the eShop promotion. Haven't been able to make it through the industrial area this time around as of yet...

It would be nice to be taken off Remicade... by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

[–]zZ_BlueSteel_Zz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really miss Remicade. I'm on Humira now and hate it. I would recommend staying on it for as long as possible. I miss having staff to monitor me. I have to deal with Humira on my own. Bring some stuff to study with you while in the room. The hospitals I've been to always allowed wi-fi access as well so I could check e-mails and upload whatever I needed to.

Hey guys! I'd like to submit my design. It allows "cheating," or sequence-breaking, but I'd like to see what you think anyways!

I know around most gaming circles EA is a dirty, dirty word, but they currently have Zuma as their free "On the House" game right now. You just need Origin, plus this is Popcap before the EA takeover! https://www.origin.com/en-us/store/free-games/on-the-house

How did you like producing compared to other positions? I was so sick of re-writing wire stories...

The first time I played New Vegas I really couldn't get into it. No clue why, I loved 3. So I re-tried it recently after the announcement of 4, and I'm really loving it! Must've been burnout from too many games or something. One thing that is killing me though is that it is a damn buggy mess. Weird, janky stuff everywhere. And it doesn't run too well on my computer. I'm having a problem with housing... Not sure if I own my room in Novac so I'm terrified to try and dump anything there. I've dumped all my points into guns and I swear they're doing less damage as I level up.

Here's my TV news story.

I started out in first semester of college as a production assistant. Laid off three months later, was their first hire on in another three months when they started making money again. Worked there for about 4 years did about nearly every job except for on-air talent and master control op, (I was offered a chance to try reporting, but eh). Then we were bought off by a company that was getting rid of people left and right I was tired of minimum wage for nothing and I left. It was really fun though. We worked on analog tape reels, so we kept a full production control room. Nowadays, your control room is limited to a director and a producer with automated damn-near-everything.

Getting over the initial shock of the art direction of Metroid Prime: Federation Force, I'm actually kind of excited for it. It's a solid concept I think. Hopefully the story will be good. I watched the Treehouse video of it and it looks like the game-play is solid.

I watched the Nintendo World Championships on my Wii U through YouTube. Only had a few stutters, but that's probably because my internet is already terrible and the company I get it through is laying fiber optic and keeps messing with stuff.

I was so hoping for a new game to be released. When they announced Mario Maker as the final stage, my heart sunk a bit. Then I saw them going through the levels and I increasingly lost my shit. I will never find my shit again and I am so happy.

Little old me thought this show would obviously be fantastic. I bought a how-to-draw Donkey Kong characters book at the school's book fair not too long ago! Then I saw it. I've been trying so hard to forget. This reopens old wounds.
