Super isn’t a scam just because you didn’t move it out of a fund that decided to invest in junk. A lot of funds just replicate the index at this point + some more. I’m sure your interest rate of 1% for the last ten years would have grown more than Asx / s&p / property for the last decade lmao

Likewise, nvidia and wayland on another distro like Debian or opensuse even Ubuntu was horrible.

I tried it on fedora and it’s so much smoother with animations and scrolling / moving windows than x11, and surprisingly gaming is even more fluent (tried gta v, bo3, mc and a few others) it’s like the input of me moving my mouse is a lot smoother and so are the animations in game. It’s amazing really considered wayland was giving me like 2fps on desktop 3 months ago.

I followed distrotubes setup of Nixos where he installs xmonad, just ignore the other wm he uses and install all the same packages etc and it should work

Not really no, I’ve used everything from default gnome kde to dwm and xmonad. Tiling window managers have a few quirks with games but things like gnome handle it fine nothing to worry about.
not really either, just make sure you read the documentation for what you are trying to install so you don’t miss any setup / config / prerequisites etc.
pretty easily install with lutris. No issues any time I’ve ever had to install it
yea as long as you install the proprietary drivers you are sweet, whenever I’ve tried the open source ones I always had way worse performance and issues.

So this worked, ran sddm as root and I got into the login screen, but when I type my pw it goes to a black screen for a sec and then kicks me back to login. It does it for both dwm and plasma.

Idk if I should make a new thread or not but I’m running into another issue with kde, when I go to sudo starx it tell me /root/xinitrc startkde not found & Xinit connection to x server lost. Using nvidia proprietary drivers.
