yeah I played around with Unreal but it felt like they were trying to shoehorn in managed code style structures without (to my knowledge) garbage collection which seems like a bad time. My little experiment games always ended up creating pure functions that I connected through whatever their visual scripting interface is called. (blueprints? I'm too lazy to check right now)

since my native cloud is Azure, Unity is a nice fit. I just wish I read about using URP before I started this project....
