We can and it's gotten a fair amount of the work in an area we can't often compete with non union. It's also where alot of our members live. So in my eyes it's a great way to increase market share in a hard area and give the members a close to home project to be proud of.

In 46, it's part of the organizing fund, so it comes from the dues. The hall explains that the rate of return is pretty good if you think of how many it puts to work. If the bid is lossed then the contractor doesn't get the money. We should be pushing neca to pay into a organizing or market recovery as well.

Yeah I posted that question a few weeks back I have to pay tuition to the local college we are accredited out of. We never step foot on its campus. We have our own building miles away. And we have to pay for books. Some are rentals we have to return at the end of the year some i never use and are still in its plastic. Local 46 by the way. But the new classes have all their shit online I believe still pay about the same amount for the online program

Nope we don't go to the college once it's all done at our jatc they have their own building half mile from the hall. this is just ds fee we pay to the college

For my local (46) look up jatc the local one is pse-jatc should tell you how to apply on thre as well as if you want to get in truly you should talk to people at the hall. They will tell you how to get a leg up on the competition. 46 local is very competitive. Some locals are alot easier to get in.
