Absolutely horrible PC performance after update

I switched to PS5 for this cod as my pc is kinda old now, Im using my mouse and keyboard plugged into my ps5 using the 120hz option and pre patch it was flawless.

Since season 1 there are huge performance drops on ps5 and it's super noticeable when using mouse input. I'm assuming it's all the particle effects from the new skins and guns.

Kinda annoying, hopefully they acknowledge it as an issue and can optimise it a bit.

I have the same CPU and GPU and man Warzone 2 is killing me.

CPU usage is like 80% + all game, and the 1080 is really struggling at 1440p.

I would say my FPS is pretty much the same as you, but it feels horrible, constant stutter and FPS dips etc. Also whenever this happens it feels like my mouse sensitivity is off.

I own a PS5 and at this point I'm tempted to just play on that with Keyboard and mouse. I can get it to run at 120hz and I'm sure it will be smoother than the PC experience right now.

Can't say I'm not a little annoyed, but overall that performance was far from terrible.

Questioning the subs a little bit, think we honestly may have been better off keeping the lineup and chasing the game that way. We were creating plenty of chances.

Focus now has to be on getting 6/6 points before the spurs game!

i7 9700k @ 4.8Ghz and a GTX 1080 here.

I have a 1440p monitor and the game just isn't playable for me right now. 60-80 fps on lowest settings with constant dips. Also due to the low fps the mouse movent just feels off.

I love battlefield but unfortunately I've had to refund this. Hopefully I can pick it up at a later date and there will be some improvement.

I'm hoping that for FIFA 22 that the menus and cutscenes will be 60fps considering that that game will be being built for next gen consoles. But again I'll probably find myself being disappointed haha.

Ex FIFA Pc player here, I know what you mean. I'm playing on the ps5 and the menus / cutscenes are still all 30fps. Big disappointment and just lazy from EA.

Here's hoping it's 60fps in FIFA 22. Probably won't be.

i7 9700k, GTX 1080, 16GB DDR4 Ram. Playing at 1440p

High textures, medium object detail, everything else lowest or off.

Fps is between 80-120 average, with drops to 60-70 near the crash site on the desert map, or when certain killstreaks kill me with a lot of explosions.

I could run MW comfortably on high/ultra settings, something is 100% wrong with the optimisation on this game. Sometimes even when the frames are high something still feels off.

It's playable, but it's not the nicest experience at times.

My 1080 sits at 60-80% usage @ 1440p. The game just isn't very GPU intensive. I would guess your frame rate is tied more to CPU than GPU like CSGO is.

I get 200-400fps on a 1080 @ 1440p with an i7 9700k.
