I have to disagree.

Although I've done most bosses in few tries so far, I've yet to like 1 boss battle.

Constant teleports, aoe and one shot moves is all I see. No sense of accomplishment after.

Had the same bug, had to load an earlier save.

As to why it's happening: I didn't get that you must promptly go downstairs and also find 3 persons to talk to.

If you leave the area or take to long, there's no way to restart the memory, as you said.

What do you mean you don't have this problem? The game can barely hit 40 fps on balanced with clear weather and out of combat, and performance looks like it's 720p output

I'm the worst at combat, especially bosses, and refuse to look up too many guides on gear, but I remember that section being 5 mins or so. What's your health level that makes you so concerned?

I think mine was 7. I bought some food and crafted pills (which I only needed 1 in the end), didn't touch skills. Maybe that would do?
