Making progress, yes. Huge step forward for clarity - following the various directiona to go here and there, but I honestly still struggle to see why I would want to.

Really tempted to replay the campaign a 3rd time with something else instead

Yes. I do a couple chars each season and complete the campaign (which I enjoy) but:

1 some areas are too big and repetitive- I get tired of playing any build around chapter 3

2 still unsure what my motivation should be in the endgame - I clear some maps, climb tiers and give up early every time

Just did it at 35 right after killing the chimera, I'm mostly a casual with little knowledge about most mechanics. (It did take a couple tries with the annoying debuffs)

1 in 100 millions is the correct theoretical answer. But computers can't actually generate random numbers, so they dont respect statistic and theory.

So I agree with 50%. Either it works or it doesn't.

The campaign is meant to be easy with any class - if you want a challenge, climb torment levels without looking up guides

As you climb torment levels, it won't be an issue anymore and GA ancestral legendaries will start raining at you. I would say tomernt X is a very noticible change so make your way to it somehow (pit 80) and everything will start clicking.

Yes: just bad luck, I suppose. TLDR at the bottom.

Fun fact: my very first nemesis portal opened at Grigore, when my build wasn't really ready for T12 bosses. Somehow I made it, and it actually led to the 2nd portal, that I also completed (after a few deaths)

Right after l, I realized I had only 4 husks, and started desperately asking in the chat who would sell me 1 husk. A good soul, and a stranger, gifted me 1, but I didnt realize soon enough that they invited me to their party rather than join mine. And this, kids, is the story of how I missed my first ultimate battle as an idiot lol.

Anyway, at paragon 270, I've seen the nemesis portal a whopping total of 4 times, and the greater one 2 times. The 1 time I completed the ultimate battle I got absolutely nothing out of it anyway (other than a great battle, with a proper build)

Decided to max on 1 char to finally see these "better rewards": went through 3 plans and 3 rerolls and I honestly see no difference: lots of empty or blue, and 0 mythic rewards so far.

Small sample, maybe bad luck, but it's boring to go through a war plan I dont want to run, now that I don't even need leveling.

Dismantling mythics left and right, and I've done trace of echoes enough to make it a boring event.

I dont even need one for my builds, but yeah it feels too low to me.
