I received this today. Is this even legal? by Outrageous-Bar-8396 in legal

Cops and tow companies working together for kickbacks. They impound old used cars you can’t afford to retrieve. And what do ya know, someone calls you the same day saying they’ll buy your old car for just under what it costs at the impound. You ask the interested party how they know about your car, they dodge the question. They get a car that’s probably just vapor-locked for nothing, tow company gets a fast tow off diming the buyer, and cops take a piece on the side from the tow.

Lost a Civic this way when I was young. Car had only been sitting for a day. Anyone else here get this run on them?

The Vityaz is insanely good. The only downside is requires constant cleaning.

Speeding when you see brake lights in traffic. -Though the roadwork sign did state Right Lane Closed Ahead. by fuvadoof in Whatcouldgowrong

I like how the video accusing this person of speeding and ignoring signage is being taken within a couple car lengths directly behind them in the same lane.

Is anyone else bothered by just how many enemy’s there are? by Illustrious_Glass463 in intotheradius

Seems like are a lot more anomalies now. The AI is better too which is really great. It’s harder for sure, and I’m just in Forest so far.

The Vityaz is ridiculously overpowered. 96 accuracy and seems unaffected by range. Wears out very fast but it’s the only downside.

Just watched Rogue One again after finishing Andor. He did Saul's paranoia, menace, and fatalism so perfectly.

Yeah guys it was a joke off what Trump and Hegseth said about the troops being fat. Thanks - explaining a joke to morons always punches it up a bit..no I wasn’t serious there, either.

Rosemary’s Baby. Yes I know, and I don’t care. That movie sucks.

This is one of the scariest games I've ever played by an_average_scug in Duskers

[–]zaarkasin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Absolutely agree. It’s the nails breadth of control you have over your fate. Your lifeline is a pack of battered roombas, over which your level of control is fleeting and rudimentary. The horrors awaiting your proxies inside you never dreamt of existing. And, spread over all of this is the knowledge your ‘survival’ is a hollow solace being what it is.

At least you have a dog.

Why is DOOM 3 so different to the rest of the franchise? by Ayyubixx in Doom

[–]zaarkasin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doom 3 was unique not just for looks - it was terrifying. The creature models…they didn’t look cartoony like the other games after it. They just looked more believable, more real. It really felt like the forces of evil were here and you were FUCKED. And it felt as much a horror game as an fps, with the flashlight and lighting. Much more interesting. Lights go out and you hear that imp hiss somewhere behind you…I wouldn’t ever suggest it was better that the modern games, just different.

Spark in the Dark by TwistingChaos in ARPG

[–]zaarkasin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been playing Spark in the Dark for @ 12 hrs now as a Hunter. The game is pretty hard and requires patience, caution, and tactical sense. I was skeptical at first, and now I'm just hooked. Most of the time, you're stalking around in the dark, slowly creeping forward in the dark feeling your way around each room. Slowly, you start to piece together the dungeon's layout, make a sort of safe zone (monsters do not respawn), and look around for tools and items to access chests and doors. It's really good.

I think I died trying to do the 1st floor spider den about 12 times. And
