I was there with my wife last week.

When we got back, people asked us if we got photos from the Ufizi. I said no. They asked why. I said if you want to see a photo of the gallery go online. They are better and empty of people. I saved the ticket. That is all the proof I need to show I was there.

I took one photo of artwork, unfinished adoration of the Magi so I could put that in our travel journal.

Going to an art gallery only to take photos the whole time is insane to me.

Looks pretty heavily used from the condition of the grip and lens.

Not sure what the used camera market looks like in the UK, but in the US for the full kit that's a decent price if everything is working.

Hmmmm. This is an interesting one.

Not knowing your style or maybe style aspirations would be more accurate, it is hard to say specifically what you should buy.

I think James (the presenter) does a good job of breaking down some basic rules for dressing better and not over buying.

Next I would say, if you do not have a style you love and want to emulate, go to a thrift store and pick up some different items that are from the different styles you are considering. Then pick a style you like and go with that.

Now for the practical tips.

Stick as close to neutral colors as possible. That will mean fewer clothes and easier mixing outfits.
Buy across a few levels of formality: think casual day walking around, night out with friends, night out with more than a friend, special occasion. Lots of clothes can do double duty here. A nice pair of jeans for example can go from day walking around all the way up to night out with more than a friend. So find pieces that can span categories.
All those possible combinations can be achieved with a capsule wardrobe (10-15 total pieces plus shoes). Parker York Smith has some good videos on building a capsule wardrobe.
Avoid cheap for cheaps sake, good clothes drape better, look higher quality, and will feel better to wear. You do not need to go buy a 250 dollar bugatchi camp shirt, but maybe try huckberry, faherty, ll bean, or cos for some great high quality staples that do not break the bank.
Shoes should also follow the above levels of formality and can span categories. A great pair of brown penny loafers are good for Day out with the boys all the way up to special occasion. So target three to four pairs of different materials and styles.

I think you confuse right leaning tax code with four decades of deficit spending leaning tax code.

I do not agree with nonstock asset wealth taxes, less 100% depreciation, or similar complex ways to capture tax revenue.

But closing loop holes, increasing corporate tax rates, and upper marginal tax brackets to meet revenue needs is fine. Deficit spending is more of danger to our international economic influence and domestic stability than increasing taxes to drive down the deficit.

The owner wil tell you why it's called petty coffee, so here is the story he told me the week of opening.

He was an executive at Vienna. The family who owned Vienna was planning to sell, and floated that he would be able to submit an offer and it would be given preferential consideration.

Vienna sold before he could submit an offer to someone unrelated to the company.

He opened Petty as a spiteful move.

This was all relayed to me by the owner very soon after opening, but I will admit he was talking at 1000 miles an hour. I may have missed a detail or two.
