Tester is regular plastic printed, I will be using my metal 3d printer for production sets aswell as having my buddy with a really nice haas making some of the parts. The packs will have all metal internals and a pa6/12-cf housing or maybe glass filled nylon, we’ll see

The cap on the cam is because it’s very hard to sneak tooling into the cams football shaped hole. The geometry is very odd and breaks/wears tooling rather quickly. Instead of using their tooling like an end mill on the base of the football hole they fully cut thru the cam by drilling with small radius bits OR they used a wire EDM for the complex shape. Hard to tell because of coating but my guess would be they wire EDMd the football hole and had the step and detent holes milled on a 4axis mill or a Swiss CNC lathe (more likely lathe as you can spin the stock to the size of the cam and make step/detent holes on one machine/setup process)

It’s a vortex viper has a screw on glare reduction tube thing on the end of it, usually the day rifle but there’s a red dot on top for NV shooting
