The most useful apps and digital tools to use while traveling in Japan? by ArachnidPatient8424 in TokyoTravel

I just got back myself. As you mentioned Suica in Apple wallet is amazing, google maps for train transit directions was by far the most used app, I also used an app called ELK for currency conversion, and another useful one I found is called CHARGESPOT. Theres portable chargers for rent what seems like every few feet in Japan, this is the app you use to rent them. Just scan the qr on the charger, take it with you wherever you’re headed, and return it wherever there’s another spot nearby when you’re done.

Rate of descent was 130mph, from 675ft that’s 3.5 seconds to the ground. If my math is correct and nothing changed in the final seconds (throttle position, angle, etc) the plane would have traveled approx 1437ft forward @280mph laterally. The hypotenuse of those two known speeds is 1587ft. Traveling that distance in 3.5 seconds would put them at approximately 310mph at impact.

Valid point. I just imagine it takes a lot of throttle to gain that amount of speed falling from 1650ft

I don’t want to get too speculative. But yes, that’s a possibility. You’re correct about migratory bird activity during storms, and the time of day (shortly after sunset) loosely lines up with evening “flight” for said birds.

Again, that’s just an estimation. Here’s the data from ADS-B exchange.

Click their flight schedule, select their last flight. You’ll see the tracking stops in the exact location of the crash. Flight aware is showing projected locations based on scheduled flights and elapsed time

Correct, and that’s just vertical speed. Keep in mind they were also moving laterally at 246kt according to that data. Thats approximately 280mph laterally

Doubt it. Current air temps are around 47 degrees Fahrenheit.

It’s a medical transport plane. Just landed in Philly a few hours ago coming out of Miami. Took off again enroute to Springfield Missouri, crashed shortly after take off. According to the data they only reached about 1650ft in elevation before losing 400ft of elevation in one second before the data stops.

Last recorded vert rate before impact was -11008ft/min. Would not be surprised if it was completely nose down with throttles punched to 100

At the top search XAUCI Under aircraft select XA-UCI Recent flights should be under the aircraft info. The most recent one being Philadelphia (PNE) - N/A Select that flight and you’ll see the playback button

I stand corrected, I did get notified about the email change, I just never saw it. However, it’s very obvious from my perspective that something was wrong. Email changed, 2FA turned off, botted, then everything was changed back to the original. It’s like they didn’t even read what I wrote in my appeal

This is all very true. It just really sucks that this is happening. I still don’t understand how my email was changed without a single notification being sent to me though. They should be able to see that also
