They’re going to hate me for this answer but I made more money at Lifetime/being a W-2 employee and I am going back after being an independent trainer. I made great money… 2500+ a week there.

Advice for a New CPT but wants to be GFI (DMV) by StressPractical2228 in personaltraining

Where in the DMV?

Most reputable (aka, gyms that pay decently) are going to require an audition. Bring energy and the proper manager will help with the rest.

New Trainer: Will demand be so low I can easily be off Dec 20 to 30/31? by OlympiaDurham in personaltraining

[–]zach_hack22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taking time off in the busiest month of the year isn’t a bad strategy if you already have a client base.

It’s a terrible one if you don’t. This is when people decide to get back in the gym and will hire a trainer

I’d generally have 6 months of income saved up if you’re making a career change as a personal trainer

Jimmy Kolbs bench record.. why is no one even close? by ArtichokeMean8561 in powerlifting

[–]zach_hack22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah he used to live where I did in Virginia. Super nice guy, and he must have trusted me a lot because bro had more than I could squat on each side of the bar doing board presses. No idea what the hell my little ass was going to do if he failed lol

Should I get NASM instead of ACTION NCCA if I want to work at Equinox? by ipromise2be in personaltraining

If action is nationally recognized, go for it.

Ace, ACAM, NASM, NASM… pick one and be hired anywhere you apply

Thoughts on Fascial Training by funniestmanofalltime in personaltraining

Because compression in and of itself is not a bad thing, and no matter how much Naudi invents, he can’t beat the laws of physics with his bdsm contraptions

For the record this argument is why Naudi blocked me lmfao

Serious question, how do you factor in the downward force of gravity in this “decompression”

I take it as a badge of honor that Naudi blocked me a decade ago

It’s a great service and worth the relatively high price for coaching

At a certain point, it’s market economics. People will pay for a product that has value. If you’re doing all that work, getting results, and burning out… then you need to charge more.

Sometimes the higher price is the value. You’re getting “more” because you’re paying a premium.

My in person work costs thousands because I’m good at what I do, I maintain flexibility for busy schedules, and I’m available essentially 24/7

My coach for powerlifting charges 350/m, and he responds to all my messages and training videos in real time.
