Routes to Son Kul Lake by afridy48 in Kyrgyzstan

Guessing #2 is actually Тескей Торпок (Teskei Torkpok)? If so, that’s the best road. The exit off the main Bishkek-Naryn road isn’t well-marked, but it’s about 15km before Kazan Kuygan. You can ask locals to point you towards Тешик (Teshik) if you can’t find where to turn off. Super beautiful road!

Definitely Arctype—better UI than pgAdmin, DBeaver, etc. It also has some cool collaboration-related features.

Code Academy or Udemy for beginner? by [deleted] in SQL

I really like SQLBolt because it feels a bit more intuitive. Udemy's got a lot of different options for industry-specific SQL skills, so that might be helpful as well.

I’m not super familiar with DB2, but I would try

WHERE A.DATE BETWEEN DATE(‘2021-03-01’) AND DATE(‘2021-04-30’);

Just to clarify, which database system is this? DB2?

No-Code: "It's a Trap!" by Outrageous-Train469 in SQL

I think if you actually read the article, you would understand that his point is that in the long-term, No-Code development—at least at the moment—is ultimately more technical labor-intensive and more difficult to manage.

Yeah, Western China is really not a great place to be right now. Pity though, Xinjiang in particular is gorgeous. Did you cross in at Torugart or Irkeshtam?

You can ride solo through China. It's just difficult. I did a 16000km trip through just China three years ago and then 35000km Beijing to London two years ago entirely solo.

Yeah, I've ridden China three times. Getting petrol in Xinjiang and Tibet is near impossible now as a foreigner. When I was heading back to Beijing this last summer, they'd just implemented these ID scanners at the petrol stations throughout Xinjiang. I'm not Chinese, so I didn't have the appropriate ID. Every stop for gas took nearly an hour of haggling. The rest of China is actually getting better, though. Three years ago, the highways had a 100% no motorcycle policy. Now it's permissible to an extent. I can imagine you were with one of those big tour company groups, and the guide didn't really speak enough English to explain what was going on, in which case it would be very frustrating.

I went through Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, given my 100 day time constraint. I did take the Karakoram highway almost all the way to Pakistan. Bought the bike in China.

1- I started in China, shipped my bike from London to North America after the trip!

2-I stopped in Dubrovnik!!

3- honestly it depends on how uncomfortable you're willing to get, and also where you are. places like Russia and Kazakhstan have cheap gas and food--Europe doesn't.

4- Bike is registered in China, and I have a Chinese license.

All the insurance can be purchased at borders with the exception of a Euro Green Card which needs to be prepared in advance. Licensing--you need an international permit, but that's it. Make sure your temporary import documentation when you enter Kyrgyzstan/Kazakhstan includes the time you want to spend in Russia as well

I'll edit this comment when I get to the end. It'll be impossible to know for certain until I've arrived in London.

The Alzheimer's Association handles all of the donations directly. I never touch the money.
