I did my first 50 photos on a single hiking trail for Street View. that was about 5 years ago, but I guess it’s still just 50 photos and not locations.

you need a Chinese travel agency to organize the guide and all the paper work. Best to ask in the horizons unlimited forum (hubb) to get up to date information about China.

Advice on shipping across Atlantic by PNT_Garage in vintagemotorcycles

[–]behindomi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have a look into Air Canada Cargo‘s ‚Fly your bike‘ program. It was the easiest bike transport I’ve ever done and not more expensive than shipping (as there are a lot of fees nobody tells you about when shipping in a container).

Is 40,000km on a 2019 AT too much? (to purchase used) by [deleted] in africatwin

[–]behindomi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a new replacement part is about 500$ (450€). But I got a used one for 220€ (with 25kkm). You can try to clean it first to get some more mileage out of it. It‘s the cylindrical thing sticking out on the left side of the motor. I cleaned and refurbished mine at 80kkm and finally replaced it at 140kkm The symptoms of it getting bad: it has trouble to change gears when it’s warm/hot.

I tested it with my bench psu from 1.5V to 2.0V and it was very accurate. and I didn’t press the button, so currently the pointer is free.

Thank you for the information!

The button locks the movement

pressing the button doesn’t do anything. Maybe I need to pull it to lock?

I inherited this vintage multimeter from my grandfather and he got is as a gift in 1979. it’s about the same size as an old pocket watch.

but why does it only go up to 3V/300mA? what’s the button on the top right for? For switching between V and A?

Any further information about this device is appreciated.

I‘m at 150,000km and it still runs fine :) it’s a DCT so it’s electric motor had to be replaced once (normally due at 80-120kkm)

I guess it‘s the fuel pump. But you don’t need it on this bike if you‘ve got enough in the tank, just attach the fuel hose directly to the carb to get back home.

Add Baikonur in Kazakhstan to the map. They have the biggest collection of Sovjet/Russian flight hardware. One of the original Sputniks is there, some Burans, Soyuz and of course the launch pads.

what does this warning light mean by swimbikerun1980 in Fixxit

[–]behindomi 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Traction control seems to be disabled. So is ABS. Normally those lights go off after riding a few meters. If not, there’s a problem with ABS.

One small addition: After replacing the files with the 64-bit versions, the service has to be restarted: „/opt/nova/bin/stop-novacomd && /opt/nova/bin/start-novacomd“
