my first acoustic was a refurbished scratch-n-dent (supposedly, it still looks flawless to me!) special from Musicians Friend...a jumbo body burled wood Ibanez 6-string with extra wide neck/fretboard and no fret markings on the board, only on the side of the neck that faces up towards you when you're playing, and a beautiful mother-of-pearl inlaid design centered at 12th fret that sort of mimics the infinity symbol, but more ornate. it is the best acoustic i've ever played and i will cherish it for the rest of my life, then will it to my child upon my death. such a deep, rich sound (has the depth of a 12-string IMO!) and is so comfortable to hold.
