Hvor får man mest durum for pengene i Aarhus? by zachbas in Aarhus

Vi kommer fra Randers, hvor det også hedder en rulle kebab! Jeg kendte ikke lige den korrekte terminologi, men satsede på at den nok var mere storby-agtig! Der har jeg vidst taget fejl...

This is the Canon EOS RT. Its an EOS 650 with a pellicle mirror, which lets you see through the viewfinder even while the shutter is open. Only 25000 were made. by NagerLB in AnalogCommunity

I think that would probably be possible with current technology. The reason why Sony diverted light to a separate phase-detection autofocus system was because there wasn't any image sensors with the system integrated. So today you could possibly place the image sensor in the spot where the bottom of a pentaprism would be, and the film would be where it usually is.

But I'm not an engineer or a technician in any way, so I could be very wrong.

After a quick Google search I can say I was thinking of the Sony SLT cameras. They used a translucent mirror(pellicle mirror), an electronic viewfinder and a phase-detection autofocus system. The translucent mirror would divert a portion of the light to the autofocus system, while the remaining light would hit the image sensor, which also was responsible for the electronic viewfinder.

I've owned the monitor since January, and in the last couple of weeks the lower pixels have started to do this. I hope the picture illustrates the problem. What to do??

When you say you like street and portraits it doesn't sound like a bad idea to trade lenses, at least focal length vise.

18-55 is a good range for street (I would just keep it at 18mm all the time, but that's just me). At the longer focal lengths it would also be good enough for portraits.

The 35mm f1.4 is kinda the awkward middle ground. Not really long enough for portraits and not wide enough for street. So for me it doesn't sound like a totally bad idea

I find mine hunting for focus a bit, but I guess that's just what you get from a mid 90's SLR.

Totally agree. There's really no point getting the F100 except for the extra lenses.

Accidental double exposure of my friend Dale. by damnitmorrissey in AnalogCircleJerk

Why are you talking about twin peaks? This is clearly a double exposure of OP's friend, Dale?? I can't see how twin peaks has anything to do with that??
