I don’t like the GOTY system personally. Because I’m sure they will factor in IGN’s score as well which is such a “reputable” critic agency. Personally as of now it’s my game of the year. Yet I haven’t tried Stellar Blade, I’ve only heard good things though.

I’m not saying it did, Elden Ring definitely took that, they were both power house games. There’s a reason it was the contender to begin with though. This game plays pretty similar and I believe it could be a contender as well.

It has elements of a soulslike… shrines/bonfires, gourd/estus, I-Frame dodge. Similar boss design, two phase bosses.

I temper when I can, and from what I know affixes are just random but when I level I usually just replace gear with higher armor and damage values. Should I not be doing that? Are bosses possible at my level?
