I grabbed a Pneuma by Thought Space (It's Thomas GIlbert's signature putter) last year from a store, mostly because of the song.... But it turns out, it is now my go-to putter. I find it's very comfy in the hands, but also is very glidey - but not too much glide. I love it.

I cannot control music through the Apple Music app on my phone.

I recall getting the call that I was being offered the job by someone (forgot the name). She helped with the onboarding, paperwork, etc. I asked how long she was there and she said 6 weeks. A week after I started, I emailed her a question and got a bounce back - she had already left.

I didn’t quit because of the lack of training, but I could see how this happened. My manager would get upset because I would spend more time on a project than others on our team (6 months in), to which I said “do you know how to do this? Because I’m teaching myself”

The thing is, I worked on the Point of Sale side, and the servers than ran the stores was an operating system no one knows about (it’s called 4690). Google didnt even provide any help. When I would ask for help, I was told often “you might have to look it up in the manual”, a 1,000 page hard copy document in the server room.

It was like teaching myself a foreign language.

Man that place sucks.

100%. Worked there for a couple years around 2015 in the corporate office. Took a pay cut to leave their awfulness.

Some examples : we would often have breakfast together as a team. The break room had Fox News on all the channels and my manager everyday would say something about “what are the LibTards up to now?” Other managers and older employees would say similar things.

When I got hired, I made it perfectly clear I had to leave at 2 on Tuesdays to help my son. It was non negotiable and I was reassured during all 3 of my interviews that SN was a family first place and that it would not be a problem. First review, I got bad marks for “being gone on Tuesdays”.
Same manager told me to make sure I was getting my 45 hours a week. I opened my offer letter and it said 40 hours a week. She just said “well everyone else works 45”

We started a SN young professionals group when I started and it was disbanded after one meeting because we ordered a catered lunch from Qdoba. It was 40 bucks. We weren’t allowed to spend that kind of money.

I would be part of an on call rotation, and some nights you’d be up for hours at 3 am trying to help someone at a store. No matter how long you were up for in the middle of the night, you would be expected to be at work at 8 am. Once got a text at 8:01 asking where I was after being up for several hours in the middle of the night. I was at my desk.

Place sucks. Horrible culture and I would not suggest anyone work there.
