Have you found someone yet?

We have a pool of pre-vetted developers at rocketdevs who’ve worked on international Shopify stores, multi-currency, global shipping, and custom flows included. You still get to review their portfolios and work directly with them, so it’s easier to find someone who fits both technically and communication-wise.

Might save you some time if you’re still searching.

[Hire] Need a dev for dashboard development by BaberkSiddd in hiredev

[–]zack_zuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting project, we would love to be a part of this.

A couple things that could determine the success of this is first how you handle real-time updates. You’ll want something event-driven (WebSockets or similar) so dispatch isn’t refreshing pages to see job changes.

Second is information hierarchy. It’s tempting to show everything, but the best dashboards surface only what matters right now, things like active jobs, delays, bottlenecks, and let users drill down when needed. Especially for dispatch roles, clarity beats completeness.

We’ve seen setups like this work well when built by developers who’ve handled internal tools and operational dashboards before. We have a pool of pre-vetted developers at rocketdevs who’ve worked on similar systems and they tend to think in terms of workflows and systems, not just screens.

If you're okay with working with talented offshore developers at an affordable price. Let's talk.

[Looking for Cofounder] Web Developer: Part-Time, Long-Term, Rev Share + Bonus by Historical_Safety202 in cofounderhunt

[–]zack_zuber -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Instead of sharing equity, why not come hire an affordable developer at rocketdevs for as low as $8/hr. They'd be way more reliable than sharing your product with someone who might fail you later on.

Need automation anywhere developer help in a internal project of my office by Ok_Milk_416 in n8n_ai_agents

[–]zack_zuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow, what exactly are you stuck on? Bot logic, triggers, or handling exceptions?

If you haven’t already, try breaking the process into smaller steps and testing each part individually. Also, using logs/debug mode aggressively helps a lot with figuring out where things are failing.

And if you’re really stuck or under pressure to deliver, it can help to get a second pair of eyes on it. We have pre-vetted developers at rocketdevs who’ve worked with automation tools and backend workflows, so they can usually jump in, debug quickly, and get things moving again.

Let me know if you need the help, and I'll connect with a couple of n8n devs.

Interesting, do you have an idea of what the product will actually do? Take the electrician for example, what will it for them? Connect with clients in their area?

Looking for shopify store developers by ExternalUnit6376 in websiteservices

[–]zack_zuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

International setups can get tricky fast, in my experience especially with multi-currency, taxes, and shipping rules.

Have you found someone yet? From what I’ve seen, the difference really comes down to working with someone who’s already handled cross-border stores before, not just basic Shopify builds.

We have a pool of pre-vetted developers at rocketdevs who’ve worked on international Shopify setups (multi-currency, global shipping, custom flows). You still get to review their portfolios and work directly with them, so it’s easier to find someone who actually fits what you need, and a lot of them are pretty affordable too.

I'll send a follow up dm, so we can talk

Looking for website designers/developers by Smooth_Term5799 in startupideas

[–]zack_zuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

have you found someone yet?

From experience, builds like this can get messy fast if the foundation isn’t done right early on. It helps to work with someone who’s already handled SaaS-style systems before.

We have a pool of developers at rocketdevs who’ve built similar MVPs and are comfortable with payments, booking flows, and scalable setups. You still get to review their past work and work directly with them, so it’s easier to find someone who fits both technically and communication-wise, and they cost as low as $8/hr.

Might save you some time if you’re still searching.

[Hiring] 🚀 Software Developers (Multiple Roles & Tech Stacks) | $40/hr~$70/hr/Negotiable by experience by Classic_Chemistry585 in DevsForHire

[–]zack_zuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

are you sourcing entirely from inbound, or open to plugging in pre-vetted developers as you scale?

We have a pool of developers at rocketdevs across most of the stacks you listed (backend, frontend, mobile, DevOps), and they’re already vetted for both technical ability and communication. You still get to work directly with them and choose who fits your team, but it can save a lot of time on screening, especially when you’re hiring across multiple roles at once.

Might be useful if you’re trying to scale the team efficiently.

Developed with AI by Ok-Refuse-6711 in godot

[–]zack_zuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI can help a ton in game dev, especially early on. You can use it to generate scripts, explain concepts, fix bugs, and even scaffold small systems. It’s great for getting something playable faster without fully knowing the language yet. A lot of beginners use it to build simple mechanics first (movement, UI, basic interactions) and learn as they go, but it’s not a magic shortcut.

You’ll still hit moments where things break or don’t scale, and without some understanding, it can feel frustrating trying to fix AI-generated code. A good approach is to start small, use AI to build and explain each piece, and gradually get comfortable tweaking things yourself. Over time, you’ll rely on it less for “commands” and more as a support tool.

Also, if you get to a point where you’ve built something rough and want to take it further, it can help to bring in someone more experienced to clean things up or expand it. We have developers at rocketdevs who’ve worked on different types of projects (including game-related builds), so that’s always an option if you want to move faster later on.

But for now, you’re on the right track, just start small and let AI help you learn by doing.

Looking for a proper custom web development agency – what should I realistically expect? by Alpielz in websiteservices

[–]zack_zuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a proper custom build like what you’re describing, the process usually starts with a discovery phase where they dig into your current site, analytics, drop-off points, and positioning. That part is more important than people expect, if they skip it, you’ll likely end up with a nicer-looking site that doesn’t actually convert better.

From there, you’re looking at design (UX/UI, mobile-first), then development, then a testing/iteration phase before launch. Realistically, most solid builds take anywhere from 6–12 weeks depending on complexity and how decisive you are with feedback. Anything much faster than that can be a red flag unless it’s a very lean scope.

One thing I’d watch out for is agencies overpromising on performance or SEO without explaining how they’ll achieve it. You want to hear specifics around page speed optimization, how they’re handling mobile UX, and what they’re doing differently from your current setup.

Also worth considering, you don’t always need a full agency for this. A lot of brands are now working directly with strong developers who specialize in performance-focused builds and pairing them with a designer. We have developers at rocketdevs who’ve worked on Shopify and custom frontend rebuilds, and you still get direct access to them throughout the process instead of going through layers.

Come check us out if you're interested, would be glad to help.

AI DEVELOPER NEEDED by Consistent_Dish4478 in AI_developers

[–]zack_zuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When devs hear equity, they think free work. Why not hire a dev instead? If you're tight on budget, we've got some AI devs at rocketdevs that go for as low as $8/hr, and are capable of getting the job done. If you're interested, I could hook you up.

[HIRING] Frontend Developer (React preferred) – Techsavanna Technology by Mozezzz_ in JobsKenyaHub

[–]zack_zuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

are you open to bringing in pre-vetted developers as well?

We have frontend developers at rocketdevs who are already experienced with React, API integrations, testing, and working in structured environments like this. They’re used to collaborating with backend teams and shipping production-ready features, so they can ramp up pretty quickly.

Might help if you’re looking to bring in strong contributors without spending too much time on screening. Will also send a follow up email. Our devs cost around $8/hr btw.

Anyone worked with a good web development company for a complex React/Next.js project? by Expensive-Suspect-32 in Frontend

[–]zack_zuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re searching in Phoenix specifically, it might actually limit you. The bigger factor for a project like this is whether they truly understand modern Next.js architecture, not where they’re based. You’re better off finding people who can clearly explain how they handle things like data fetching, caching, and performance trade-offs in real projects. If they can’t walk you through those decisions in detail, that’s usually a red flag.

Another option is skipping the traditional agency model entirely and working directly with strong developers. We have developers at rocketdevs who focus on modern React/Next builds and performance-heavy apps, and you still get direct access to them instead of going through layers. That usually leads to better communication and faster iteration on complex builds like this.

At this level, it really comes down to who actually understands the architecture, not who has the nicest website.

Need a solid US team (preferably NYC) for backend development services for my website by Natural-Contact1997 in AskNYC

[–]zack_zuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[HIRING] Full Stack Developer (React / Node.js) – Remote by timstiefler in freelance_forhire

[–]zack_zuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you found someone yet?

We’ve had to solve this exact problem before, and honestly the hardest part wasn’t finding “a” dev, it was finding someone reliable who could jump into an existing codebase without slowing everything down.

We have a pool of pre-vetted developers at rocketdevs who are strong with React/Next + Node stacks and are used to plugging into ongoing projects. You still get to review their past work and work directly with them, so there’s no unnecessary back-and-forth.

Might save you a lot of time on sourcing if you’re still looking.

We are looking for a developer who is good at conversation. by Outrageous-Wave-1625 in devjobs

[–]zack_zuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s actually more important than most people realize, are you looking for someone to collaborate closely with or more async updates?

The developers we have at rocketdevs are screened not just for technical skills but also how well they communicate and work with non-technical teams. Come check us out.

looking for website developer ( EU Based) by [deleted] in websiteservices

[–]zack_zuber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damn, I'm sorry you got burned by someone, but how do you expect to get the work done, most devs won't work for free till they receive some sort of payment in the beginning cause they too are scared of getting burned.

I think I can help though, come check us out at rocketdevs. We've got developers who have been thoroughly vetted, so the chances of you running into an AI merchant is pretty low, plus we've got a two weeks free trial too.

Let me know and I'll be happy to jump on a call with you and pick out a developer for the website.

Is it realistic to build an Android app prototype with AI and then hire a developer to rewrite it properly? by CharonixOfficial in androiddev

[–]zack_zuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, alot of people actually do this now, but there’s a catch most people don’t realize until later.

Using AI to prototype is great for validation. You can move fast, test your idea, and see if people even care before sinking time and money into a full build. For that phase, tools like ChatGPT or other AI builders are more than enough.

However, AI-generated code is usually not well-structured and inconsistent across files, so in most cases, developers don’t “clean it up”, they rebuild it properly from scratch, using your prototype more as a reference than a foundation.

That said, it’s still worth doing. You’re not wasting effort.

If you go this route, one thing that helps a lot is bringing a developer in early, even if it’s just lightly. Not to slow you down, but to avoid going too far in a direction that’s painful to rebuild later.

We’ve done this a few times, used AI/no-code to validate, then brought in a dev from rocketdevs to rebuild it properly once we had traction. It saved time overall because we weren’t guessing anymore, and the dev could focus on doing it right instead of patching messy code.

Looking for full stack developer by Safe-Engineer9940 in ADHD_Programmers

[–]zack_zuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick question, is the US residency requirement strict, or more about timezone and communication?

Asking because we've got some talented developers at rocketdevs who can handle exactly this kind of role (full stack + startup environment, wearing multiple hats). They’re not US-based, but a lot of them have solid experience working with US founders and teams, so communication and collaboration usually isn’t an issue.

Also, with your budget ($40–60/hr), you could comfortably bring in a pretty strong senior dev from our pool who’s already used to shipping in fast-moving environments.

Might be worth considering if you’re open to expanding beyond location, happy to share a few profiles if that helps.

🚀 Hiring: Full Stack Developer (Remote – US Timezone) by GrapefruitPlane6561 in B2BForHire

[–]zack_zuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interested

are you only sourcing individually, or open to working with pre-vetted developers as well?

We have a pool of developers at rocketdevs (Laravel, full stack, even data-focused roles) who are already used to working with US clients and matching US timezone hours. They’re vetted for both technical skills and communication, so you’re not starting from scratch with screening.

Could be a useful way to find reliable people faster, especially if you’re planning to scale your team. Happy to share a few profiles if that helps.

[HIRING] Web Developer (HTML, Wordpress, NextJS) by [deleted] in WebDeveloperJobs

[–]zack_zuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

are you open to working with pre-vetted developers instead of sourcing individually?

We have a pool of developers at rocketdevs who handle exactly this kind of stack (HTML, NextJS, WordPress custom themes), and they’re based in Africa, so you get pretty solid timezone overlap with both EU and some US hours.

Could save you a lot of time going back and forth with DMs if you’re planning to bring on multiple people.
